We’re a family-run business that understands just how much a semi-rural venue such as ours can add to a special occasion. And we want to make sure as many people as possible get to experience a big event in our stunning walled garden. That’s why we keep our pricing competitive and transparent.
When you hire our space for an event, you don’t just get one of the most eye-catching outdoor locations in Oxford — you also get the expertise of an experienced events planner. We want your event to run without a hitch, so the planning and organising begin the day you place a booking with us.
Our core wedding and events prices are as follows:

Optional extras: if you require logs for the firepit, we can supply them for an additional charge. You can also hire hay bales for £10 per bale. Get in touch to discuss the specific arrangement for your event with us.
Staffing
When you book a wedding at The Medley Walled Garden, we will assign you a wedding coordinator. There’ll also be a coordinator onsite during your entire event — ensuring everything goes to plan and there’s always a point of contact nearby. We also provide bar staff to ensure everyone at your gathering can focus on having a great time.
Food Options
We work with a carefully selected list of trusted catering partners who are familiar with the site and meet our service and quality standards. Using our approved caterers helps ensure your day runs smoothly and allows you to enjoy the planning process with confidence.
As we do not offer permanent kitchen facilities on site, all of our approved caterers are fully equipped to manage food preparation, service, and clear-down independently. They will provide all necessary equipment, staffing, linens, crockery, and cutlery required to deliver your wedding catering seamlessly.
Bar Options
We can provide you with a fully stocked bar for your event, along with the staff required to run it. Guests will need to pay for their drinks on the day unless alternative arrangements are made. We also offer a range of drinks packages that will enhance the experience for all your guests.
Marquee
Included within your venue hire is our beautiful semi-permanent marquee, thoughtfully positioned within the garden beneath a natural canopy of trees. Featuring a clear roof and sides and a wooden floor, the marquee allows the garden and surrounding greenery to remain the star of the day. On warm, sunny days the sides can be fully opened, creating a seamless inside-outside feel, while the trees provide welcome natural shade.
Customize Drink
We always strive to ensure our guests get exactly what they want on the day. If you have specific requirements regarding the drinks served to your guests, we’ll create a bespoke drinks package on request.
Please note: We offer a fully stocked bar with electronic card payments. You will not be able to bring any drinks with you to the event.
